Kathy Gavini, Clinical Services Director for Broad Reach Hospice has been selected for the seventh annual celebration of Salute to Nurses in Boston. She is one of only three nurses selected from 291 nominated professionals and the sole representative from Cape Cod.

Cape Cod Healthcare has named Michael L. Connors, C.P.A., as its new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Connors, who most recently served for 14 years as CFO for Brockton-based Signature Healthcare, becomes just the second CFO in the 10-year-old health system. Interim CFO Jeffrey Dykens, C.P.A., will resume his role as CCHC Corporate Controller.

The estate planning and elder law firm of Charles Case Jr. in Centerville has named Legal Assistant Wendy J. Higgins to head its Probate and Elder Law division.
