An open house so visitors can tour the facility and meet the staff is scheduled for November 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. It will be followed from 6 to 8 p.m. with a special presentation of RHCI’s Healthy Living Series on Chronic Back Pain—Myths and Management by Dr. Jay Rosenfeld, RHCI physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. The talk will feature the latest in non-surgical management of back pain.

Caring Over the Bridge
The VNA of Cape Cod has been providing certified, private and Hospice care to patients in the Plymouth area for more than 10 years, beginning with the private services division in the early 1990s. The VNA office is at 146 Court Street in downtown Plymouth and serves as a satellite location for staff serving patients in the area. In addition to the Cape, the VNA of Cape Cod serves patients in Plymouth, Wareham, Rochester, Carver, Middleboro, Plympton and Kingston.
Democratic Congressman Bill Delahunt, whose district includes the Cape Cod/Plymouth area, reports that he continues to press officials at Veterans’ Affairs and Secretary Eric Shinseki regarding what he terms “the urgent need” for a Veterans Clinic in Plymouth. This is a project he notes he has been pushing for years and he asks constituents to “stay tuned.”
